Radio Solar Detection System Plans PDF Print E-mail

As part of TBOB's long term operations plan, we will be starting to implement Radio telescopes in winter 2010/11.  Equipment and software is currently being assembled and plans being drawn.

The addition of Radio Telescope will provide an large increase of data capture at the facility.  Radio telescopes can operate during daytime and during cloudy conditions.  This will introduce another  24/7  data capture function to the observatory.
